Hampton Park in the evening is full of pockets of light and little secret places. Swarms of tiny wings catch the sunshine at the base of 100 year old oak trees: fairies (or bugs if you’re unromantic). I’ve only just discovered this treasure a week ago and I’ve been back everyday. It’s tucked away so nicely and you feel at once removed from the noisy city. This small sojourn for peacefulness is most needed in my day as I get tired of our cramped apartment.
