Apparently the moon last night was the "fullest" it will be for another 20 years, and indeed it was quite bright. It didn't appear so largely in the sky based on the time that I went out. I had major insomnia and didn't go to sleep until 6am. but I had fun sitting on our porch for a little while and couldn't resist taking a picture of the moon...it was even a little hard to resist howling at the moon but I left that task to Juneau.
